The Grape Fest in Soave celebrates soon 88 years!
This fest dates back to Sept. 29th 1929, when Luigi Zannini, the president of the Wine Cooperative, organized the 1st grape fair in Soave, the most ancient in Italy.
September is the month of the harvest, and right in Soave, where winegrowing is an ancient tradition, the grape fest is dedicated to the Garganega, the indigenous grape of Soave.
On Sept. 16th , 17th and 18th in the medieval center of Soave many shows will take place and Soave wine will be the protagonist.
