Little growing grapes
After a few rainy weeks, finally summer is here and our vines are sunkissed.
This is the moment of the year where, after flower initiation and bud set (the term that describes the passage from the flower to the fruit), we can see the fruits that the nature give us, as we all know them.
The grapes are growing and in a short time berries will develop in size and at the end of the growing process the the bunch closure will take place, ready for the ripening.
In this time of the year the best climate conditions are influenced by a shining sun and a warm temperature, punctuated by the rain (in a perfect condition, the temperature would not be too hot, not to burn the grapes, and the rain should come in the right quantity, in order to avoid drought).
We hope this summer will be as good as the last year, in order to have a great vintage for our wines!
A presto, VM
