The bottle called Magnum is probably one of the most popular big sized bottle.
Not all the XL bottles are Magnum, which is the proper name for 1,5 liters wine bottles.

As the bottle capacity increases, the names that identifies the bottle size get more majestics and highfalutin, with references to the history of big personalities and important sovereigns of the ancient times.

Big size bottles are, most of the times, suitable to be drunk also after many years, as the wine aging in the bottle increases as the bottle size gets bigger...it's worth the wait!
